Today for nonfiction I am going to talk about our church our church is in the URC denomination meaning united reformed church and you could add America on there but I think there are some URC churches in Canada as well so wouldn't fit really well. We a re a formed denomination that it pretty big especially in Michigan but there are also churches in California and a couple other states over that way.
For sermon Sunday I am going to talk about the morning sermon and this one is still on the Joseph series. This is also the part of the story when Josephs brothers go down to Egypt to get some grain because they were in a severe famine.  Josephs saw them walk into the place where they were selling grain and the first thing he says he accuses them of being spies to look at the weak parts of the land of Egypt.  Remember Joseph basically could do anything to his brothers Joseph basically has absolute power over everyone in Egypt besides the Pharaoh.  Joseph could have snapped his fingers and his brothers heads would roll.
Today I am going to keep talking about the history of America and America is slowly ever so slowly getting settled people are seeing opportunity and an insane amount of freedom in America and people don't yet know how big America actually is just uncharted land that you can take for nothing it's just up to you and whoever you bring with you to tame it.
For sermon sunday today we talked about king nebuchadnezzar. In the chapter where he there Shadrach shack and Abedinigo into the fire furnace and he saw four people saw Jesus standing with the three friends. The pastor talked about the plain of dura which was our field trip to this massive statue towering over everything the only thing that was also there was the blazing hot furnace that was probably a kiln.
I learned a new kata yesterday and it is called sokugi chudan and its really cool that I got to know alt this kata but I would much rather just work on the kata that I know and figure everything g out with it and perfect it that's how I like to do things sometimes I feel like there just cramming things into your head.
The second yip[ test in my karate style is probably by far the hardest tip rest requires a lot of memorization and has the kata and our set self-defenses which are basically a framework for what you can do to someone to show what works and what doesn't.
Sermn Sunday today I am going to talk about the fening sermon guest pastor. It was about eijah and how he lived by this book where ravens came and fed him bread and meat and he drnk from the brook and we learned this is the practice of patience because it took him a long time and he could just sit there and weit for his next meal waiting for God.
