trench systems in world war one, first of all, they aren't just holes dug in the ground. these where the trenches that people almost lived in there was a what they call a spam tower or something like that. they would and it was a trench that was dug out into no man's land where they could snipe and shoot. and the enemy with machine guns well for the average trench there would be a firing step which was technically a part of a piece of wood sticking out of the wall. that you could step on and fire from because then your gun and head would be over the trench so you could shoot and do whatever you want. and on the actual ground level, it would just be some raised planks over so all the water would leak under and you wouldn't get sick also there would be a hole in the back where you could sleep and eat and stuff like that.
Delta Force members were sent to almost every single ambassador they protected the president. Were skilled in just about anything from taking over a hostage plane to shooting things the shooting house where they trained actually had a really bad filtering system so over time you got lead poisoning but the first delta force member did not know this. None of them felt the effects of this through the selection process for delta force was grueling for even the hardest of people. Eric Haney accidentally took the wrong turn and turned a forty-mile hike into fifty-six-mile hikes. When the first members were working on how to take back a hijacked plane what they did was shoot through the front windshield of the plane which you could do without the bullet straying from the course.
