Foe sermon Sunday today we had a sermon on the parable of Ezekial putting two sticks together. Which was a super easy illustration and on these two sticks he wrote on one side Ephriam standing for the ten tribes on one side and on the other side he wrote down Judah. Which stands for the other two tribes and he joined them together symbolizing that these two countries would join into one great unified nation but this seems almost impossible because the ten on one side had long gone into exile from assyria about two hundred years ago and just then Jerusalem had fallen to the Assyrians also.
Puss the cat
Today I read a story about a cat named Puss. One day, Puss had kittens. They were born in the cellar, but then Puss took the kittens up to the attic. But the servant thought that they should be in the cellar. So she took them back to the cellar. But Puss took them back to the attic! This happened a dozen times. Puss left the kittens and came back with an unfamiliar cat that they had never seen. This cat took them into the attic and went away. Then the servant girl left them alone. This story should teach children to help one another all the time. (Typed by mommy.)
