Gulliver was terrified. They came closer and closer to him than they chopped the stalks he was right under then they saw him and quickly grabbed him so he couldn't run away. The people were perplexed because they had never seen anything like this so the farm man took him home to his house where he gave him to his little daughter. But they were extremely confused because it was tiny too small to be a ferret or anything and to them, it talked but they couldn't understand it because they spoke different languages over time though they learned the languages so they could talk to each other and the farmer made quite a bit of money peddling around with this little man and showing him off in rooms.
