mayflower
the breaking waves dashed high
on a stern and rockbound coast
and the woods against a stormy sky
their giant branches tossed
and the heavy night hung dark
and the hills and waters oer
than a band of exiles moored their barck
on the wild new England shore
this i think is a song that the pilgrims sang when they saw land on the mayflower they looked for a place to land when they saw plymath john smith mapped it out and when they got there they started to cut trees for there log cabins when the girls and boys came they saw a flower and col it the flower the mayflower that is what they col it then it was the tie for the real mayflower to go back to England they climed a hill and waved goodbye the end
