For sermons Sunday I am going to talk about the evening service. This service was partly based on the Lord's Supper but more on who should be allowed into the church. There are many churches and almost every single one does it differently. There are churches that all they do is dwell on this matter. First, there are two things we must remember: when you are to join the church you must make a confession of faith. You must go before the elders and then to the church. There are two things negative charity and positive charity are we trying to find the god things in someone's life or the bad things in someone's life. In my denomination, we always have done negative charity meaning we are looking for things that would prove you are not a saved Christian If we cant find anything that is severely negative we will most likely have to let you into the church with open arms.
Puss the cat
Today I read a story about a cat named Puss. One day, Puss had kittens. They were born in the cellar, but then Puss took the kittens up to the attic. But the servant thought that they should be in the cellar. So she took them back to the cellar. But Puss took them back to the attic! This happened a dozen times. Puss left the kittens and came back with an unfamiliar cat that they had never seen. This cat took them into the attic and went away. Then the servant girl left them alone. This story should teach children to help one another all the time. (Typed by mommy.)
